Hyperloop Desert Campus:
A Strike Through Time and Space
Against gravity, against time, against space - the technology of the Hyperloop ultimately lies in its capacity to overcome elements of nature by moving through cities and landscapes in an infinitesimal amount of time. The invention of Hyperloop itself shall ultimately disrupt our perception of time and space, warping the fabric of our perceived reality. The architecture of the desert campus hopes to amplify this contradiction. The Hyperloop, represented as a monolithic figure alters its immediate surroundings. Such is the symbol of mankind’s innate desire to defy the
very nature it inhabits, a universally primeval paradox that ultimately unites us all and drives the creation of new technologies forward.
